We would all like to thank your office for making arrangements for us so efficiently and at short notice. The hotels were marvellous - the Taj Palace hotels were quite beyond belief for their luxury and beauty (Delhi, Jaipur and Udaipur) and we have to pinch ourselves into believing that we stayed in such lovely places.

As much as the outstanding accommodations, our greatest enjoyment was learning about some of the history, architecture and religions of your breathtaking country and also about the lives and changing attitudes between the generations as our guides, agents and drivers generously shared glimpses of their family lives with us.

Ranjeet, the representative from your office, was endlessly patient and helpful with the details of our travel. He arrived on time, smiling and well turned out, to shepherd us through airports and into hotels with good humour.

Hem, our driver for 5 days, was amazingly deft in the midst of mind-bending traffic jams and we always felt safe with him at the wheel and were relieved to see him (and our comfortable air conditioned car) waiting for us at our sightseeing venues. Each of our colloquial English-speaking guides was excellent, and we gleaned such a lot of interesting information from their talks to us. Please pass along our congratulations to all of them for a job very well done! I will certainly recommend you and your office to any friends who might be traveling to India.”

I really appreciated that your rep was at the train station when we got to Varanasi. He and the driver were wonderful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The guide to Sarnath and the side trip was perfect. The knowledge of our guide was so impressive that I recommended him to other people in our hotel. The hotel was wonderful and perfect and I would return there in a minute.

Delhi - Again, your rep was wonderful, friendly and lovely to spend time with. The Hotel Corus was adequate for our purposes...very much a businessman's hotel. For the few hours we stayed there, it was clean and conveniently located.

Haridwar-The hotel was incredible. It had a private aarti every morning at the private ghat, music every night in the courtyard, good food, lovely staff and beautiful rooms with terraces overlooking the Ganga.

Also, your rep Rituraj was so wonderful when we came back. He took us to a museum, the Gate of India and a wonderful place for lunch as we attempted to pass the long wait for our flight. Truly, your staff were incredible!!

I would, and have, recommended your services already. Once again, I truly appreciate your kindness to me throughout this trip and must know the quality of the people that you have working for you are top notch. Thank you again.”

We had a very good time in India, thanks to the perfect organisation from BTS. Although we cannot say we know a country after three weeks, I think we had a nice opportunity to discover heritage, landscapes, civilisation, religion, everyday life (even the theatre!), climate (the monsoon was great). Travelling by car was a very good way to feel the country, as so many things happen on the road and in the countryside. The train and planes were interesting too. There was also a very good balance between short and longer times in various cities, big or small, each one with its own personality.

Everything went well, thanks to the kindness and attention of all. India is a beautiful country, but not an easy one. The professionalism of the team let us travel in very good conditions, in total confidence.

You and the BTS team are good ambassadors of your country. I hope we will have the opportunity to discover other parts of India in the same conditions.

We were afraid that we might be disappointed with our stay in Srinagar, because everyone had built it up our minds so much as a Paradise, but we weren't at all disappointed with anything.
